The project

Camino App is an initiative of the Asociación de Municipios del Camino de Santiago (Association of Municipalities of the St. James' Way), together with the Asociación de Amigos del Camino de Santiago de Astorga (Association of Friends of the St. James' Way of Astorga) and others National and International associations of Friends of St. James' Way, was created to look after you and the Camino with the collaboration of volunteers from around the world.

It is designed as a collaboration project whose purpose is to cater to, assist, safeguard, serve and protect pilgrims and furthermore preserve and take care of the Camino.

In order to attain this objective, we would like to provide you, the pilgrim, with a tool which enables you to start your journey on the Camino with peace of mind and security, keeping your memories and validating your digital credential. At the same time you can report any incidents or impositions you encounter on the Camino.

A tool which does not impose the Camino or the stages on you. User friendly, enabling you to freely plan, according to your tastes and options. At every moment, we will provide you with the necessary information.
